AN ACT CONCERNING THE SETTLEMENT AND DISPOSITION OF HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE CLAIMS. To require each insurer that delivers or issues a homeowners insurance policy in this state to settle or otherwise dispose of a claim under the policy not later than forty-five days after the claim is made.
