As a Missouri resident, I am urging legislatures to oppose HB 33. HB 33 would criminalize healthcare for transgender youth and is in direction violation of standard best practices recommended by national organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics. This bill would revoke the licenses of trusted medical care professionals, charging them with abuse for providing life-saving health care. Youth across Missouri deserve health care including transgender youth. Please oppose HB 33.

There state has NO right to interfere in the medical care and treatment (both physical and emotional) of anyone. Those issues, courses of treatment and decisions belong to the patient, their guardians when applicable, and their doctor. (BTW - same applies to insurance companies!)
