AN ACT REQUIRING A STUDY OF THE CRISIS INTERVENTION TRAINING REQUIRED BY THE STATE POLICE ACADEMY AND POLICE OFFICER STANDARDS AND TRAINING COUNCIL. To recognize that incidences related to mental health are on the rise and to provide law enforcement officers with the tools they need for mental health awareness and crisis intervention.
