To deny children critical, time-sensitive medical treatment because of ill-conceived moral objections is abhorrent abuse. It's little different than some parents insisting that prayers are an adequate substitute for hospital care! This bill labeling established, well-considered treatment as "malpractice" is just a stealthy way to legitimize and cultivate discrimination on a large scale, and siphon away the responsibility, respect, and sacred trust from trained and experienced medical professionals. It would set a social and legal precedent for the systematic indoctrination of transgender children into 2nd-rate citizens whose fundamental identity is predetermined by the state and it further defies the very spirit of the country...which, emphatically declared at its inception that ALL of its people are imbued with the right to pursue Happiness. This bill is both inhumane and unAmerican, and should be summarily tossed out!
