A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 56-31-70 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A RENTER OF A RENTAL VEHICLE MAY AGREE THAT IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT INVOLVING THE RENTAL VEHICLE THE RENTER'S AUTOMOBILE LIABILITY INSURANCE COMPANY WILL PAY UP TO ITS LIMITS OF LIABILITY BEFORE THE RENTAL COMPANY MUST PAY.
