A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING SECTION 59-28-195 SO AS TO ESTABLISH LIMITATIONS AND SAFEGUARDS GOVERNING THE USE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, TO REQUIRE PARENTAL NOTICE AND CONSENT, TO ENSURE HUMAN AND TEACHER OVERSIGHT, TO PROTECT STUDENT DATA, TO DEFINE TERMS, AND TO PROVIDE FOR ENFORCEMENT AND REMEDIES.
