A BILL TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ENACTING THE "LICENSED PERFUSIONIST PRACTICE ACT" BY ADDING ARTICLE 12 TO CHAPTER 47, TITLE 40 SO AS TO ESTABLISH THE PERFUSIONISTS ADVISORY COMMITTEE UNDER THE BOARD OF MEDICAL EXAMINERS, TO PROVIDE FOR THE LICENSURE AND REGULATION OF PERFUSIONISTS, TO ESTABLISH THE RESPECTIVE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BOARD AND THE ADVISORY COMMITTEE, AND TO PROVIDE PENALTIES FOR VIOLATIONS, AMONG OTHER THINGS.
