My name is Chase Sommer and I am the Esports Coordinator at Wake Tech Community College. I may be a bit biased, but I would love to see this bill come to life! There is a massive ecosystem of gamers and esports players at the collegiate level that would greatly benefit from this. People like me who have gamed their whole life never got the opportunity to play on school-sponsored teams. This bill would provide opportunities for the next generation of gamers to do so!
