Comments on HB 419

Daniel Rankin wrote 3 months ago

It is not the governments decision to tell a health care professional or a parent what is best for their child.
D. Buckley wrote 3 months ago

This bill only spreads harm, hate, and ignorance.
Sue Gibson wrote 4 months ago

A legislator with a bachelor’s degree in biblical studies is distinctly unqualified to legislate what physicians can and cannot do. Physicians must “first, do no harm”. This bill commands them to do harm by abandoning and neglecting the needs of our most vulnerable children. Gender reassignment surgery is already not performed on children under eighteen. Hormonal blockers are used to delay development of sexual characteristics until the child reaches the age of consent. This is hateful legislation that will confer torment on our most vulnerable children — forcing unwanted puberty upon them.

Gender expression is not for others to vote on much like voting on the legality of Christianity isn’t something the country should vote in it’s no one’s business but the parents and child.
