While gun ownership is deeply valued by many Missouri citizens, it is not safe or responsible to decree that hidden and loaded firearms can be carried into any space. Schools and daycare centers should be gun-free zones. Allowing hidden, loaded firearms into bars, where alcohol use diminishes critical thinking and inhibition, is decreasing the safety of everyone in those locations. And private citizens should be able to decide whether they want concealed firearms on property they own. This bill endangers Missouri citizens.

This is just a bad idea to allow concealed carry of firearms to schools, day care centers & bars. I think this is a pointless piece of legislation designed to shift focus off of the anti gun bills introduced this session. MORE guns does not make a safer community.

Expanding gun rights is the best way to get voted out of office right now. Expanding Missouri gun rights is the best way to keep businesses from locating to Missouri right now.

Absolute foolishness to encourage weapons in bars and a sacreligious to promote gun-carry in places of worship, especially Christian churches where Our Lord's word stresses non-violence and love for one another. Making daycare centers a possible point of attack for domestic violence is also foolishness. Listen to your children not to the NRA!
