If you are insistent on teachers being unable to choose topics, history, social skills, and subjects being inappropriate, why would you trust them to fire weapons in classrooms? In addition, with the newest assault rifle on the market, the JR-15, marketed for extremely young children. The WEE1 ad has baby skull & crossbones with tactical binkies. { Last year, in July, Nancy Pelosi showed WEE1’s marketing materials on the House floor. MTG suggested that the children who died at Uvalde should’ve been armed with JR-15s “At least they could have defended themselves since no one else did, while their parents were held back by police.” { If selling a gun to appeal to toddlers isn’t the worst type of grooming, I’m not sure what is. It's inexcusable to choose violence and mass shootings rather than creating safe spaces for children. Where is your common sense?

This bill does not give any consideration to families and contradicts everything about parental rights and local control. Outside of the most obvious problem that more firearms to tackle firearm use is not effective. The amount of open firearm access has lead us to the most violent nation in the world. Mr Lucas and others have taken zero consideration into the special needs community, the rights that the parents, families, community members and co-workers are entitled to.
