Final Disposition, Funeral, and Cemetery Services; Prohibits solicitations of sales of final disposition, funeral, & cemetery services by licensees of such services under certain circumstances; provides exceptions to civil actions against persons & companies offering final disposition, funeral, & cemetery services; revises land requirements for proposed cemeteries; specifies educational & testing requirements for licensure as embalmers & funeral directors by endorsement; revises requirements for licensure for funeral director interns; prohibits new applications for direct disposer licenses & prohibits issuances of such licenses on or after specified date; authorizes practices of direct disposition for grandfathered licensees; prohibits new applications for direct disposal establishment licenses & prohibits issuances of such licenses on or after specified date; authorizes practices of direct disposition for grandfathered establishments; decreases waiting time period for funeral & direct disposal establishments to dispose of cremated remains; excludes preneed contracts from requirements that insured persons apply for or consent to such contracts & terms.
