Leon County; Provides applicability; provides for permanent status; provides cause for suspension or dismissal; provides for transition to new Sheriff; provides beginning date of employees; revises procedures of Career Service Appeals Boards; requires Sheriff to be represented by Sheriff's General Counsel or other specified representative; prohibits certain evidence from inclusion; authorizes chairperson to rule on admissibility of evidence; removes provisions relating to complaints against employees, Complaint Review Boards, & employment status of commissioned & noncommissioned employees; provides severability; provides effective date.
