Tax Collectors; Revises tax collector base salaries; defines "tax collector employee"; provides that tax collector employees are eligible to receive certain adoption benefits; specifies monetary benefit amounts to be paid under specified conditions; requires such employees to apply to DCF to obtain benefit; authorizes DCF to adopt specified rules; authorizes county tax collectors to budget for & pay hiring & retention bonuses to employees under specified conditions; authorizes district school board to contract with county tax collector to authorize tax collector employee to administer road tests on school grounds at one or more secondary schools within district.
