Connecticut House Bill
AN ACT CONCERNING THE DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES' ABUSE AND NEGLECT INVESTIGATIONS. To ensure family members of suspected abuse or neglect victims have access to abuse and neglect investigation reports filed by the Department of Developmental Services unless such family members are suspected of such abuse or neglect and require the department to evaluate and report on the sufficiency of background checks of persons hired to provide services to clients served by the department and whether abuse and neglect investigations are conducted in a prompt and thorough manner.
