AN ACT SUPPORTING "LEARN AND EARN" INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES. To (1) require support for paid internship programs at small businesses, (2) provide grants to students who receive federal Pell grants to assist such students in obtaining internships, (3) require institutions of higher education to report about internship opportunities offered through such institutions, (4) establish a state quality seal for quality internships, (5) extend the human capital investment tax credit for salaries paid to interns, and (6) establish a grant program for nonprofit organizations to offset the cost of salaries paid to interns.
