Connecticut House Bill
AN ACT PROMOTING THE DEVELOPMENT OF ACCESSORY DWELLING UNITS. To (1) change statutory references to "accessory apartments" to "accessory dwelling units", (2) repeal a provision allowing municipalities to opt out of allowing accessory dwelling units on residential lots, (3) prohibit the enforcement of certain residential land use restrictions, and (4) require the Commissioner of Housing to establish a program concerning preapproved accessory dwelling units.
