AN ACT CONCERNING OVERSIGHT OF MEDICAL CARE FOR PERSONS WHO ARE INCARCERATED AT THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTION. To (1) require the Department of Correction to update its plan for medical care for persons who are incarcerated and report various information concerning medical care organized by correctional institution in an annual report, and (2) establish the position of Correction Medical Deputy Ombuds to oversee efforts to obtain Medicaid for eligible persons who are incarcerated prior to discharge from a correctional institution.
