AN ACT CONCERNING STEP THERAPY REQUIREMENTS FOR PRESCRIPTION DRUGS COVERED UNDER THE MEDICAID PROGRAM AND REQUIRED NOTICE TO ENROLLEES OF PRESCRIPTION DRUG PAYMENT SUSPENSIONS, DENIALS OR IMPOSITION OF NEW REQUIREMENTS. To align step therapy requirements with manufacturer guidelines for prescription drugs covered under the Medicaid program.
