AN ACT CONCERNING MOLD REMEDIATION. To (1) require persons performing mold remediation for compensation in the state to register with the Department of Consumer Protection, (2) establish standards for the performance of mold remediation, and (3) provide that no certificate shall be given under the Home Improvement Act to any person who holds such person out to be a contractor that performs mold remediation unless such person provides evidence, satisfactory to the Commissioner of Consumer Protection, that the contractor is certified as a mold remediator.
