AN ACT ESTABLISHING A CONNECTICUT PRECIOUS METALS WORKING GROUP AND CONCERNING THE SALES AND USE TAXES EXEMPTION FOR CERTAIN COINS, BULLION AND LEGAL TENDER. To (1) recognize gold and silver as legal tender in the state, (2) implement various initiatives to promote the ownership and use of gold and silver in trade and transactions, (3) establish the Connecticut Bullion Depository, and (4) establish the Gold Start Savings Program for children residing in a concentrated poverty census tract.
