AN ACT EXPANDING LIABILITY UNDER THE FALSE CLAIMS ACT FOR ENTITIES WITH AN OWNERSHIP INTEREST AND PROHIBITING THE LICENSING OF HOSPITALS WITH CERTAIN LEASE BACK ARRANGEMENTS. To impose liability on entities that have an ownership interest for violations of the False Claims Act and to prohibit granting a new license or certain renewal of a hospital license with a lease back arrangement for its main campus and require notification to the Attorney General of any such arrangement.
