AN ACT CONCERNING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR AMBULANCE SERVICES. To prohibit insurers and health care centers from (1) requiring prior authorizations after any transport when medically necessary by ambulance to a hospital, and (2) denying payment to ambulance providers on the basis that the enrollee failed to obtain a prior authorization.
