AN ACT CONCERNING SHORT-TERM RENTAL FACILITATORS AND PROPERTIES. To authorize municipalities to (1) levy a tax on short-term rental facilitators in an amount not to exceed two per cent of such operator's income from short-term rental properties during a tax year, and (2) engage consultants to assist in developing ordinances and regulations concerning the operation and use of short-term rental properties and requirements for licensure of short-term rental operators.
