AN ACT CONCERNING THE WAIVER OF CERTAIN CRIMINAL HISTORY RECORDS CHECK FEES FOR AN INDIGENT PERSON SEEKING A PARDON. To allow (1) the result of a background check related to an application for a permit, license or other credential to be used when applying for another permit, license or other credential within five years, and (2) the waiver of certain criminal history records check fees for an indigent person who is seeking a pardon.
