AN ACT CONCERNING INTERSTATE AGREEMENTS TO COMBAT CATALYTIC CONVERTER THEFTS AND A TASK FORCE TO STUDY THE LAWS RELATED TO CATALYTIC CONVERTERS. To (1) authorize agreements with other states to establish a regional approach to combating catalytic converter thefts, (2) require new and used car dealers to mark the catalytic converters of motor vehicles they sell that are valued at more than ten thousand dollars, and (3) establish a task force to evaluate laws relating to catalytic converters.
