AN ACT REQUIRING HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR OPTIONAL ANESTHESIA FOR REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH MEDICAL PROCEDURES. To require individual and group health insurance policies to provide health insurance coverage for patients or health care providers requesting optional anesthesia for vaginal, cervical and uterine medical procedures, including, but not limited to, loop electrosurgical excision procedure, colposcopy, ablation and intrauterine device insertion.
