AN ACT EXPANDING GRANTS IN LIEU OF TAXES PAYMENTS TO INCLUDE MANUFACTURING MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT EXEMPT FROM PROPERTY TAX. To expand grants in lieu of taxes payments by the state to include payments to municipalities of one hundred per cent of the amount of property taxes that, except for any exemption applicable to manufacturing machinery and equipment under the provisions of section 12-81 of the general statutes, would have been paid with respect to such machinery and equipment.
