AN ACT CONCERNING REQUIREMENTS FOR HOME CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTORS AND HOME IMPROVEMENT CONTRACTORS AND SALESPERSONS, EXEMPTING CERTAIN PERSONS FROM LOCKSMITH REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS AND EXPANDING THE APPLICABILITY OF THE SMALL CLAIMS PROCEDURE. To protect consumers by effectively regulating new home construction contractors and home improvement contractors.
