Comments on AB 1797

Karen Roberts wrote 2 months ago

This bill would add the patient's or client's race or ethnicity to the list of information. The patient's or client's race or ethnicity is not essential information to be shared among so many different groups, without authorization from the patient or client. This is a set up for racial profiling. As there are more mixed marriages, a patient's race is more complicated to define and less effective as health care information, but still a problem with racial profiling.
