I support this bill if amended. I feel strongly that hair cutting should be deregulated. However if this bill is not passed more than 90,000 Licensed Estheticians won't have an opportunity to work in the modern era. As an esthetician in the state of California, there has not been an approved expansion of scope of practice for my profession in over 43 years. I believe it's high time we are allowed to perform more services in order to be able to compete in the beauty business. I would love to add more services for the convenience of my clients, like lash perming, brow and lash tint, brow laminating, microneedling, and dermaplaning. If allowed, Estheticians can perform these services in a safe manner with the proper training and certification. Please support this bill.

This bill will cause more spread of communicable disease . We as professionals believe that more CEU and more inspections need to be done in the Barber and Cosmetology industry not water the profession down, more social media monitoring and more fines to unlicensed people, No to SB803
