Please Support the Safe Step Act
Help support the Safe Step Act! It's critical to ensure that medical providers can continue to make the best decisions on behalf of, and with, their patients. Step Therapy is a protocol that insurance companies use that requires patients to try (and potentially fail) one, two, or more medications before they can "step up" to the one their provider prescribes. This can lead to disastrous health consequences and overall raise healthcare costs for both the consumer and the system as a whole. We need to urge Congress to put the brakes on Step Therapy!
