On Thursday, there are a number of pro-housing bills coming before the State Senate, and I am asking you to vote in support of each of these bills:

SB 26, relative to the definition of deposits as they pertain to land sales. (as amended)

SB 90, allowing high-density residential development on land zoned for commercial use.

SB 170, relative to residential property subject to housing covenants under the low income housing tax credit program. (as amended)

SB 173, relative to residential property subject to housing covenants under the low income housing tax credit program.

SB 84-FN, relative to zoning procedures concerning residential housing.

As a member of the NH Home Builders Association, I appreciate the State Senate’s efforts to make constructing more homes a priority. There is bipartisan consensus that we need more housing in our state. We need to press forward to ensure that the Granite State remains an affordable and safe place to live and raise a family, and these pieces of legislation are a step in the right direction.
