The Pets in TPO's bill is ALMOST at the finish line!!
Thanks to your advocacy, Adding pets to TPO petitions passed unanimously out of the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday and now needs to be heard in Rules before getting a full vote in the Senate. It would be very easy for the Rules committee to overlook this small bill, but we know this small bill is a big deal because nearly half of survivors report delaying leaving an abusive relationship or returning to one out of fear for the safety of a beloved pet. Now we need to reach out to the members of the Rules committee and ask for them to call HB177 up for consideration. We are literally two steps from the finish line!
