Stop HB 60- Protect Housing Rights for People with Disabilities

The New Hampshire Senate is voting this Thursday on HB 60, a dangerous bill that would allow landlords to evict tenants without cause once their lease expires.
This proposed law opens the door to housing instability and discrimination, especially for people with disabilities. If passed, it would:
  • Allow no-cause evictions, removing current protections for tenants who follow all lease terms
  • Put individuals with disabilities at greater risk of losing their homes due to bias or lack of accessible options
  • Undermine the fair housing progress we have fought for across New Hampshire
ABLE NH believes everyone deserves safe, stable housing, especially those already navigating a system full of barriers. HB 60 moves us backward. We must act now. Contact your senator today and urge them to vote no on HB 60.
Together, we can protect the rights of our community and say no to discrimination hidden under housing policy.
