1 A BILL to amend and reenact §64-10-1 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to
2 authorizing the Division of Labor to promulgate a legislative rule relating to licensing of
3 elevator mechanics, accessibility technicians, and limited technicians and registration of
4 elevator mechanic apprentices.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
ARTICLE 10. AUTHORIZATION FOR DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE TO
PROMULGATE LEGISLATIVE RULES.
§64-10-1. Division of Labor.
1 The legislative rule filed in the State Register on July 27, 2023, authorized under the
2 authority of §21-3C-11 of this code, relating to the Division of Labor (licensing of elevator
3 mechanics, accessibility technicians, and limited technicians and registration of elevator mechanic
4 apprentices, 42 CSR 21A), is authorized.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to authorize the Division of Labor to promulgate a legislative rule relating to licensing of elevator mechanics, accessibility technicians, and limited technicians and registration of elevator mechanic apprentices.
