1 A BILL making a supplementary appropriation by adding a new item of appropriation and
2 increasing the expenditure of public moneys out of the Treasury from the balance of
3 moneys remaining as an unappropriated balance in the State Fund, General Revenue, to
4 the Department of Commerce, West Virginia Tourism Office, fund 0246, fiscal year 2021,
5 organization 0304, by supplementing and amending the appropriations for the fiscal year
6 ending June 30, 2021.
1 WHEREAS, The Governor submitted to the Legislature the Executive Budget document,
2 dated February 10, 2021, which included a Statement of the State Fund, General Revenue,
3 setting forth therein the cash balance as of July 1, 2020, and further included an estimate of
4 revenues for the fiscal year 2021, less net appropriation balances forwarded and regular
5 appropriations for the fiscal year 2021; and
1 WHEREAS, The Governor submitted to the Legislature an Executive Message dated June
2 7, 2021 which included a revised estimate of revenues for the State Fund, General Revenue and
3 a statement of the State Fund, General Revenue for the fiscal year 2021; and
1 WHEREAS, The Governor submitted to the Legislature an Executive Message dated June
2 24, 2021, which included a revised estimate of revenues for the State Fund, General Revenue
3 and a statement of the State Fund, General Revenue for the fiscal year 2021; and
1 WHEREAS, It appears from the Statement of the State Fund, General Revenue, and
2 Executive messages, there remains an unappropriated balance in the State Treasury which is
3 available for appropriation during the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021; therefore Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
1 That the total appropriation for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2021, to fund 0246, fiscal
2 year 2021, organization 0304, be supplemented and amended by adding a new item of
3 appropriation as follows:

14 Any unexpended balance remaining in the appropriation for Tourism – Development
15 Opportunity Fund (fund 0246, appropriation 11601) at the close of the fiscal year 2021 is hereby
16 reappropriated for expenditure during the fiscal year 2022.
NOTE: The purpose of this supplemental appropriation bill is to add a new item of
appropriation in the aforesaid account from the State Fund, General Revenue, for the fiscal year 2021.
