1 AN ACT to repeal 104.001 of the statutes; relating to: local minimum wage
2 ordinances.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
Current law prohibits a city, village, town, or county from enacting and
administering an ordinance establishing a minimum wage. This bill eliminates that
prohibition.

an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:
3 SECTION 1. 104.001 of the statutes is repealed.
