8 General Description:
9 This bill modifies the requirements for a county legislative body to establish fees for
10 certain county services.
11 Highlighted Provisions:
12 This bill:
13 < requires a county legislative body to adopt an ordinance or resolution that
14 establishes fees for certain county services provided by a county officer; and
15 < makes technical changes.

24 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
25 Section 1. Section 17-53-211 is amended to read:
26 17-53-211. Fees for services -- Exceptions.
27 The legislative body of each county shall adopt an ordinance [establishing] or resolution
28 that establishes fees for services provided by each county officer, except:
29 (1) fees for the recorder, sheriff, and county constables; and
