8 LONG TITLE
9 General Description:
10 This bill supplements or reduces appropriations otherwise provided for the support and
11 operation of state government for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021.
12 Highlighted Provisions:
13 This bill:
14 < provides budget increases and decreases for the use and support of certain state agencies
15 and institutions of higher education;
16 < authorizes certain state agency fees;
17 < authorizes internal service fund rates;
18 < adjusts funding for the impact of Internal Service Fund rate changes; and,
19 < provides budget increases and decreases for other purposes as described.
20 Money Appropriated in this Bill:
21 This bill appropriates $8,293,600 in operating and capital budgets for fiscal year 2021,
22 including:
23 < $3,350,900 from the General Fund;
24 < $2,387,600 from the Education Fund; and
25 < $2,555,100 from various sources as detailed in this bill.
26 This bill appropriates $196,700 in expendable funds and accounts for fiscal year 2021.
27 This bill appropriates $2,831,300 in business-like activities for fiscal year 2021, including:
28 < ($766,200) from the General Fund; and
29 < $3,597,500 from various sources as detailed in this bill.
30 This bill appropriates $0 in restricted fund and account transfers for fiscal year 2021,
31 including:
32 < $2,600 from the General Fund; and
33 < ($2,600) from various sources as detailed in this bill.

40 Be it enacted by the Legislature of the state of Utah:
41 Section 1. FY 2021 Appropriations. The following sums of money are appropriated for the
42 fiscal year beginning July 1, 2020 and ending June 30, 2021.
43 Subsection 1(a). Operating and Capital Budgets. Under the terms and conditions of
44 Title 63J, Chapter 1, Budgetary Procedures Act, the Legislature appropriates the following sums of
45 money from the funds or accounts indicated for the use and support of the government of the state of
46 Utah.
