HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 293

A RESOLUTION to honor and congratulate Julie Haynes on being named the 2022-2023 Bedford County Schools Supervisor of the Year.
WHEREAS, it is fitting that the members of this General Assembly should honor those outstanding citizens who have devoted their careers to providing the highest-quality education for Tennessee's students; and WHEREAS, Julie Haynes is one such estimable individual, who has distinguished herself as a professional of the greatest dedication, ability, and integrity; and WHEREAS, Ms. Haynes was recently named the 2022-2023 Bedford County Schools Supervisor of the Year, a most befitting honor that recognizes the positive influence she has on
so many young lives; and WHEREAS, Ms. Haynes has been an educator for twenty-four years, having begun her career as a teacher in Coffee County; in 1999, she taught special education at Thomas Elementary School in Shelbyville; and WHEREAS, a respected leader in her profession, Ms. Haynes also served as the assistant principal at East Side Elementary School from 2015 to 2017; and WHEREAS, Ms. Haynes was named the supervisor of special education in July 2017, in which position she has proudly served her home community for five years; and WHEREAS, Ms. Haynes is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree and a master's degree; and WHEREAS, Julie Haynes is wholly committed to the highest ideals of public service and quality education for all, and she should be specially recognized; now, therefore,

THIRTEENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE, THE SENATE
CONCURRING, that we honor and congratulate Julie Haynes on being named the 2022-2023
Bedford County Schools Supervisor of the Year, commend her exceptional service to the students of Tennessee, salute her professional expertise and personal excellence, and extend to her our best wishes for every future success.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that an appropriate copy of this resolution be prepared for presentation with this final clause omitted from such copy and upon proper request made to
the appropriate clerk, the language appearing immediately following the State seal appear without House or Senate designation.
