By Gillespie AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 5;
Title 6; Title 7; Title 8, Chapter 50 and Title 8,
Chapter 8, relative to residency requirements.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 8-50-107(d)(2)(A), is amended by
deleting the language "full-time law enforcement officers" and substituting instead "full-time law enforcement officers, including jailers and correctional officers".
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
