By Walley AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4,
Chapter 1, Part 3, relative to state mottos.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-1-315, is amended by deleting the section and substituting:
The mottos of this state are:
(a) "Agriculture and Commerce," as proclaimed on the great seal of the state of Tennessee since 1801; and
(b) "Send Me.".
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
