This bill requires the department of education to do the following:
(1) In consultation with the department of human services, determine which programs are eligible to be funded with the TANF program funds and publish a list of eligible programs on the department of education's public website; and
(2) Work with the department of human services to establish a process through which an LEA or public charter school may apply for TANF program funds for use in an eligible program and award TANF program funds to an LEA or public charter school for use in an eligible program.
