By Lundberg AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 49,
Chapter 6, relative to education savings accounts.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-6-2602(3)(A), is amended by
adding the following as new subdivisions:
(iv) Was enrolled in and attended a Tennessee public school for one (1) full school year in the 2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year; or
(v) Was eligible for the first time to enroll in a Tennessee public school in the
2019-2020, 2020-2021, or 2021-2022 school year;
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
