By Harris AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 4,
Chapter 5; Title 49, Chapter 7; Title 49, Chapter 8
and Title 49, Chapter 9, relative to public institutions of higher education.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 4-5-102(12)(b), is amended by
deleting the word "or" at the end of subdivision (v), by deleting the word "and" at the end of
subdivision (vi) and substituting the word "or", and by adding the following as a new subdivision:
(vii) Traffic and parking regulations created by a governing board of a public institution of higher education; and SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
