By Johnson AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 15,
relative to Juneteenth.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 15-1-101, is amended by adding
"June 19, known as "Juneteenth";" before "July 4;".
SECTION 2. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 15-2-137, is amended by deleting the section.
SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
