                                     HOUSE BILL 2779
                                        By Alexander AN ACT to amend Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 20;
                                          Title 29; Title 37; Title 39; Title 63 and Title 68,
                                          relative to abortion.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF TENNESSEE:
       SECTION 1. Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 39-15-215(i), is amended by deleting the language "seven (7) calendar days" and substituting the language "seventy-two (72) hours".
       SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
