A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION, Establishing the period of day-to-day adjournment of the Senate within the Special Session on the Impeachment of Jason Ravnsborg.
WHEREAS, S.D. Const., Art. III,   16, permits either house to adjourn for more than three days only with the consent of the other house; and
WHEREAS, once the Senate has organized and adopted rules in the Special Session on the Impeachment of Jason Ravnsborg, the Senate is unlikely to need to conduct further business within the scope of this special session until the House of Representatives communicates its disposition on the investigation of, and any articles of impeachment regarding, Jason Ravnsborg, Attorney General of the State of South Dakota:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Senate of the Legislature of the State of South Dakota, convened for the Special Session on the Impeachment of Jason Ravnsborg, the House of Representatives concurring therein, that the Senate shall adjourn day-to-day under this special session until fourteen days after the secretary of the Senate receives a message from the House of Representatives regarding the disposition of the investigation and any articles of impeachment, on which day the Senate shall reconvene under this special session to conduct business within the scope of the special session.
