A LEGISLATIVE COMMEMORATION, Commending the South Dakota Army National Guard's 235th Military Police Company of Rapid City and Sioux Falls for being awarded the Certificate of Victory.
WHEREAS, the National Guard Association of the United States awarded the Certificate of Victory to the 235th Military Police Company for weapons marksmanship; and
WHEREAS, the Certificate of Victory is presented to the unit attaining the highest figure in the Army National Guard in annual qualification firing with assigned individual weapons; and
WHEREAS, the 235th Military Police Company continues to demonstrate support to its community and the state:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT COMMEMORATED, by the Ninety-Sixth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, that the Legislature expresses its respect, commendation, and congratulations to the South Dakota Army National Guard's 235th Military Police Company for receiving the Certificate of Victory for weapons marksmanship. The 235th Military Police Company is further recognized for its outstanding service to South Dakota and the United States.
